This inspired album was recorded "live" at the ancient Anasazi ruins of the American Southwest. John Huling and his gifted musicianship bring the treasures of the Native American flute to us all with hauntingly sweet melodies, gently interwoven with the bird-song, thunder, and natural sounds of the canyons.
Each of the tracks on this album was recorded at a different location within the Four Corners region of the Colorado Plateau. This area is rich with an ancient history, and Huling's masterful flute-work seems to beckon forth otherwise hidden echoes of the past.
